Iran Press/ Iran news: In his meeting with Rafael Grossi, Mohammad Javad Zarif emphasized that the cooperation between Iran and the IAEA has always been based on international commitments and in a technical and professional framework.
"As the IAEA has repeatedly confirmed, there is the most cooperation in the field of safeguards between Iran and the IAEA, and this path can continue in the same framework," Zarif added.
The Foreign Minister expressed hope that by resolving the existing disputes on the basis of mutual trust, cooperation between the two sides would continue within the framework of safeguard regulations, and in good faith.
During the meeting, IAEA's DG. stressed that the Agency performs its duties on the basis of the principles of impartiality and professionalism, as well as within the framework of technical considerations.

He added that the cooperation between Iran and the IAEA in the past has been in the interest of both sides and by solving some problems, this cooperation can continue.
Rafael Grossi, in his part, praised Iran's willingness to continue cooperation with the IAEA.
Grossi added on his Twitter account on Tuesday evening: "Following my talks in Tehran, I had a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif to continue discussions being held in Tehran."
"Grateful for his willingness to further work cooperatively with the IAEA," Grossi highlighted.
IAEA's DG who arrived in Tehran on Monday night heading a delegation from the International Atomic Energy Agency was welcomed by Behrouz Kamalvandi, the spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, and Kazem Gharib Abadi, Iran's ambassador and permanent representative to international organizations based in Austria.

This trip was carried out at the invitation of the Iranian side and in order to continue the cooperation between Iran and the Agency.
Prior to his visit to Iran, Rafael Grossi announced in a tweet that he would travel to Tehran to meet with officials of the Islamic Republic to address the remaining issues regarding safeguards agreements.
He also met this morning with Ali Akbar Salehi, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran. 104/207
