Youth of 120 nationalities gather in Qom, swear allegiance to Lt. Gen. Soleimani

Qom (IP) - The youth from over 120 nationalities gathered in Qods Mosalla of Qom province, south to Tehran, on Saturday night to swear allegiance to the Iranian high-ranking commander martyred Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani.

Iran Press/Iran News: Attending the gathering of the Resistance Movement youth, the member of the Assembly of Experts Ayatollah Mohsen Araki said that the martyrdom of General Soleimani means the end of the hegemony of the global arrogance led by the US.

Ayatollah Araki stressed that the Resistance Front will become more eminent in the future and turn into a role-model for the world.

Bahrain's Islamic Movement Leader Sheikh Isa Qassim, the former Cultural Deputy of Iraq's Popular Military Force (PMU) Hashem al-Heidari, and a representative of Lebanon's Hezbollah Mo'een Daqiq, as well as a number of other religious and seminary figures of Qom, attended the gathering.

The Commander of Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani and the second-in-command of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis were assassinated by the US air raid in Baghdad, Iraq's capital.

Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani was awarded by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei as the first Iranian military official to hold Iran’s highest military order, the Order of Zulfaqar after the 1979 Islamic Revolution. 

Following the martyrdom of Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani and the accompanying great worriers of Islam including Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution issued a message, stressed that severe revenge is waiting for those who are behind this criminal act. 104/219
