On Sunday evening, a large number of people marched in Sanaa, the capital of Yemen, and other cities of the country. for commemorating the 8th anniversary of Yemeni Resistance against the war and siege imposed by the Saudi coalition.
March 26, 2015, is the anniversary of the beginning of the military operation of the Saudi coalition in Yemen.
The director of the office of the Supreme Revolutionary Council, Ahmed Hamid, told Iran Press reporter on the sidelines of this march, that during the eight years of war; the strength, cohesion, and steadfastness of the Yemeni people increased against the aggressors.
Khairy al-Saadi, a Yemeni politician who was also present at the National Resistance Day march, stated in an interview with the Iran Press that the large presence of the Yemeni people in Sanaa and other cities of this country has an important message for the enemies of Yemen.
Khairy al-Saadi emphasized that the people of Yemen proudly participated in the National Resistance Day march because the Yemenis have become stronger and more resistant despite the war and siege.
This Yemeni politician said that the people of Yemen have penetrated deep into the aggressor countries with their missile and drone power, and the Yemenis are determined to defeat the siege of Yemen and defend their country.
"Majdi Uqba", a Yemeni journalist, also emphasized in an interview with Iran Press correspondent that the aggressors should heed the advice of Abdul Malik Badreddin al-Houthi and end the war and siege of Yemen.
