Iran Press/ Middle East: Referring to the alleged demands for a ceasefire in Yemen, Abdulsalam said that the end of hostilities and the aggression is in the hands of the one who invaded Yemen and put the country under economic siege.
The head of the negotiating team of the Yemeni National Salvation Government added that asking to stop defending the country in the face of the aggressive siege, means surrendering, and no common sense will accept it.
In recent months, Saudi Arabia and its allies have called for a ceasefire in Yemen after several defeats against the Yemeni army and popular committees.
Yemeni officials emphasize that stopping the Saudi coalition aggression and lifting the siege of Yemen should be a precondition for any ceasefire negotiations.
Saudi Arabia, with the support of the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and several other countries, invaded Yemen in March 2015. The outbreak of war by Saudi Arabia and its allies in Yemen has so far killed tens of thousands and displaced millions of Yemenis.
The Saudi military aggression has also left the impoverished country of Yemen severely short of food and medicine.
The Saudi regime and its allies have so far failed to achieve their goals in the war against Yemenis. 219
