Iran Press/ West Asia: "The first three attacks occurred in the Red Sea with ballistic missiles and bomb-laden drones that targeted Laax, MOREA, and SEALADY ships," the Yemeni military spokesman Yahya Sarea said in a statement aired by Houthi-run al-Masirah TV.
"The hits were accurate," he added.
"The fourth and fifth attacks targeted ALBA ship and MAERSK HARTFORD ship, both belonging to the United States, in the Arabian Sea with ballistic missiles and drones," Sarea said.
"The sixth attack was in the Mediterranean Sea targeting MINERVA ANTONIA ship with winged missiles," the spokesman noted, vowing to carry out more attacks until "Israel stops its war against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip."
began last November to launch anti-ship ballistic missiles and drones targeting what they said were Israeli-linked ships transiting the Red Sea to show solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza.
Israel's three-week-old Rafah offensive stirred renewed outrage after an airstrike on Sunday set ablaze a tent camp in the west of the city.
The strike killed some 50 people, including many children, prompting global condemnations and calls for the implementation of a World Court order to halt Israel's assault on Gaza.
The attack came two days after the International Court of Justice ordered Israel to stop its US-backed aggression on Gaza that has killed more than 36,000 people since it started in October last year.
Meanwhile, Israel has intensified its attacks on Rafah despite international condemnation.
