Iran Press/ Europe: The first night of winter and the longest night of the year is called Yalda night.
Yalda night is one of the oldest rituals of Iranians, which has long been a symbol of Iranian unity, empathy, and interaction.
On this occasion and according to the Iran Press news agency, coinciding with the arrival of the Iranian Yalda celebration on the last day of autumn, last night (Thursday) the ceremony to honor this night as the longest night of the year aimed at introducing this ancient ritual was hosted by Iran's embassy cultural section at Farhadiye Gallery in Sarajevo.
In this ceremony, which was attended by Bosnians interested in Iranian culture, various programs such as introducing Yalda and its rituals were performed.
Mohammad Hossein Ansari, Iran's cultural attaché in Bosnia and Herzegovina, while expressing the unique features of this ancient religion, said:
"I wish for you and all the people of the world that you will have better days from tomorrow and peace and friendship will be established all over the world for the ones who are not having good days today."
