Tehran (IP) - Yalda Night, also known in the Persian language as "Shabe Chelleh," is the longest night of the year. Yalda traditions are ancient, like the civilization of Iran.

Iran PressIran News: When the sun sets on the 30th day of Azar (corresponding to the 21st of December) until the sun rises on the first day of winter, Yalda is celebrated in the homes of Iranian people with the presence of family members.

It is customary to celebrate the tradition of Yalda in the house of elders and grandparents.
