Iran Press/Iran news: An Iranian pathologist and member of the International Agency for Cancer Research, who works in the French city of Lyon in east-central France, Behnoush Abedi, in an exclusive interview with Iran Press news agency said: "There have been a lot of collaborative studies in which Iranian cancer researchers have been involved, particularly research on cancer of the upper digestive tract, and now even a broader field of head, neck and kidney cancer that we are working with Iran."
Speaking on the sidelines of the 21st International Oncology Laboratory and Medicine and the Newest Pathology and Diagnostic treatment of Cancer Conference, held in the Iranian capital of Tehran, Abedi went on to call Iran as one of the 'most reliable' and one of the 'most competent' collaborators in cancer research in the past twenty years, that she and her colleagues have had a chance to work with.
Abedi said: "The world appreciates working with Iranian researchers because first of all they are highly committed and have excellent facilities for modern research, and secondly, because they follow standard protocols. The Iranian pathologist added: "Iranians also provide a lot of good biological materials that can be used in the field of cancer research." 101/211
