Iran's minister of education Mohsen Haji Mirzaie has stressed that the 'Fundamental Transformation Document' will act as roadmap to overhaul and modernize our education system.

Iran Press/Iran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Saturday (21 September), on the sidelines of a press conference on the occasion of the start of the new academic year, education minister, Mohsen Haji Mirzaie said: “Fundamental Transformation Document is our roadmap for transforming the education system and the Document has defined 6 subheadings namely: (1) Strategic Management (2) Human Resources, (3) Financial Resources, (4) National Lesson-Plan Program, (5) Space, Equipment and Technology (6) Research and Evaluation Procedures."

He added: "For each one of these subsystems or subheadings we will appoint a responsible official and will pursue the realization of the goals set out in the “Fundamental Transformation Document", and I will personally organize a meeting with each and every official responsible for each subsystem to continuously monitor  the subsystem's objectives personally."

The minister added: “The Fundamental Transformation Document  is an important document, a worthy document which is currently in the form of a booklet, and the implementation of this document is a complex process which requires the cooperation and collaboration of all relevant government departments and ministries active in economic, social and cultural spheres."

Haji Mirzaie said: “We will do our best to implement this document despite its intricacies and complications."

The education minister's press conference was held at Shohadaye Haftom-Tir high school in Tehran, on Saturday 21 September 2019, at the start of the new academic year. 101/211
