TEHRAN (IP) - The helicopter carrying President Raisi and his accompanying delegation including the Iranian Foreign Minister and other officials crashed on Sunday in the Dizmar forest in East Azerbaijan Province. 8 people were killed in the incident. Wreckage from a crashed helicopter was discovered early morning on Monday due to the severe weather conditions.

The statement conveyed Hamas' "deepest condolences and solidarity" to Iran's Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, the Iranian government, and the Iranian people for "this immense loss."

It praised the deceased Iranian leaders for supporting the Palestinian cause and resistance against Israel and expressed confidence that Iran's "deep-rooted institutions" will enable it to overcome "the repercussions of this great loss."

EU condoles Iran on the tragic loss of President Raisi, Amir-Abdollahian

Following the martyrdoms of the Iranian President and his companions in an unexpected helicopter crash on Monday, The president of EU Council extended his condolences to the Iranian nation by publishing a message on X.

Emir of Qatar condoles martyrdom of Iranian President, FM

Issuing a message, the Emir of Qatar offered condolences to the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the death of the Iranian President and the Iranian Foreign Minister in the copter crash incident.

"I offer my condolences to the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the death of President Ebrahim Raeisi and the Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian, and the accompanying officials in the painful incident of the helicopter crash," Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar wrote.

UAE offered condolences 

Emirati President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan offered condolences over the martyrdom of the Iranian president and foreign minister, stressing his country's solidarity with Iran.

"I extend my deepest condolences to the Iranian government and people over the passing of President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and those accompanying them following a tragic accident," he wrote in a post on X.

Bashar Assad: President Raisi; Martyred While Serving People

While condoling the martyrdom of Ayatollah Raisi and his accompanying delegation, the President of Syria announced that the sincerity of the President of Iran in his efforts and responsibility led him to attain a high degree of martyrdom and to be martyred while performing his duty and service.

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in a message to Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic on the martyrdom of President Ebrahim Raisi, and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and his accompanying delegation expressed his condolences to the Iranian government and nation.

In his message, Bashar Assad emphasized Syria's solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran and the family of the late president and his companions and announced: "We express our sadness and sympathy in this painful incident and the great loss caused by it."

Amir of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami condoles Iran 

Amir of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami expressed deep grief over the tragic death of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hussain Amir- Abdollahian along with other companions in a helicopter accident.

Shafiqur Rahman gave a condolence message on May 20.

In his condolence message, he said, "On Sunday, May 19, Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Governor of East Azerbaijan Province Malek Rahmati and senior officials including Ayatollah Muhammad Ali Al-Hashem, the spokesman of Iran's supreme religious leader in this province, were tragically killed in a helicopter crash. I am personally deeply saddened and shocked by this horrific accident.

Also, on behalf of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and the Islam-loving people of Bangladesh, I am showing deep respect and respect to the Iranian president and his companions who were martyred in the accident.
