Iran Press/Iran News: During the event, the people of Zanjan, the capital city of Zanjan province rode their bicycles between 15 Khordad Square and the sidewalk of Sabzeh Meydan (Green Square).
World Car Free Day (September 22) reminds people of the need to raise awareness to move towards clean transport. The purpose of naming such a day is to encourage people to ride bicycles and walk.
In the same context, the Mayor of Tehran, Pirooz Hanachi cycled the route from Laleh Park to Tehran City Park on Tuesday on the occasion of World Car Free Day, along with the ambassadors of Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, the Netherlands, Norway, and Switzerland to Tehran.
