Iran Press/ Middle East: In an exclusive interview with IranPress correspondent in Beirut, Abdullah Qusair said that Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei always stresses the healthy family and its consolidation and considers the security of a society subject to the security of families.
Qusair made the remarks on the unveiling ceremony of "Together towards Paradise," which is a collection of Ayatollah Khamenei's speeches and advice to married couples.
He said that Ayatollah Khamenei stresses the rule of understanding, spirituality, and adherence to ethics in conjugal life and that the material issue must not influence their lives.
With regard to the status of women in the Leader's thought, the Lebanese figure said that Ayatollah Khamenei views women in the same way as Imam Khomeini viewed their value as equal to the holy Qur'an.
Qusair noted that Iranian women played an essential role in the victory of the Islamic Revolution, and their role was at the level of men or even higher in many cases and that the Islamic Revolution in Iran would not achieve success without the women's role.
The Director of Lebanon's Education Research and Studies stated that the Leader has emphasized the presence of women in the political and cultural arenas, but at the same time, he put an emphasis on motherhood to be the most sacred role they play in raising generations.
