Iran Press/ Iran news: Thousands of women and girls on Wednesday were received by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in Tehran.
The Leader of the Revolution stated: "The issue of women in Islam is one of the strengths of the religion. Islam has strong logic and rational foundations in all areas related to women."
He noted, "Women can play a role in elections. Today in the world there are two approaches in all these fields; One approach is the common western approach that has become popular in non-western countries in all the areas I mentioned. One approach is the Islamic approach, these two are opposite to each other."
"However, there is one point that I think is a significant point, and that is the cultural and civilizational system of the West is not willing to discuss these issues, it avoids entering into discussion and research."
Ayatollah Khamenei stated, "Many questions in these fields are not discussed by the Western culture, the Western system, the Western civilizational and cultural system. He advances the issue with controversies and pranks, using art, cinema, force, virtual space, and so on. It is not willing to discuss, it is not willing to answer the questions. The reason is that the West has no logic."
The Leader of the revolution two years ago in a meeting with the eulogists of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH), referring to the request of a group of women to hold a meeting on the birthday of Hazrat Zahra (AS), pointed out the appropriateness of such meetings, and last year this meeting was also held on the birthday of Hazrat Zahra (as).
