Iran Press/ Iran news: In an answer to Iran Press question Alireza Zali, the head of Tehran's Centre of Operations to Combat Coronavirus on the sideline of operation of spraying disinfectants to sanitize pavements and public transport vehicles at Valiasr St. said, "This is the best strategy and I think the best strategy could be achieved by the cooperation of the people."
"On the other hand, there are other measures of combating off the virus on the surface of the streets also in the crowded areas such as public vehicles stations, terminals, parks and also ATMs, bus stations and also some crowded shopping centers and other public centers that are at risk of the spreading of this virus in Tehran," he added.
Following the measures for combating coronavirus, Tehran municipality and the fire department sanitize Valiasr street and its Public passages on March 6th, 2019.
The operation to sanitize the 18-kilometer Valiasr street started at Tajrish square and ended at Rah-e Ahan square. This operation involved about 1500 personnel.
Valiasr street is one of the main streets in Tehran from south to the north and plays a vital role in the economy and health of Tehran's people and even country so disinfestation of this street is too important.
Seyyed Hamid Mousavi, the mayor of Tehran's District 1 in an interview with IP said that Valiasr street not only is one of the most important streets of Tehran but also in the country and there are many cultural and economic activities in this street so, we promise the people that we will disinfect this street and completely eliminate coronavirus.
"Defeating this virus needs people's collaboration and observing hygiene," he added.
