Iran Press/ West Asia: According to local sources, some districts in the provinces of "Sa'ada" in the north and "Al Hodeidah" in the west of Yemen have been targeted by US-UK airstrikes.
These attacks were carried out hours after British Prime Minister Rishi Sonak in a message on Sunday evening emphasized the cooperation and participation with the United States in attacks and aggression on Yemeni territory.
The United States and the United Kingdom launched an attack on Yemen on the morning of January 11 following the resolution of the United Nations Security Council.
These attacks were carried out after the Yemeni army targeted several Zionist ships or vessels bound for the occupied territories in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab strait in support of the resistance of the Palestinian nation in the Gaza Strip.
Earlier, Yemen's Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree stated that the Yemeni armed forces will not hesitate to carry out more operations against the Zionist enemy on land and sea until the aggression stops and the blockade of the Gaza Strip is lifted, General Saree stressed.
