Iran Embassy in China

In response to the US Embassy's false claim, Iran’s Embassy in China said the US is striving to digress the general public from the realities through publishing false tweets about Iran.

Iran Press/Asia: Iran’s Embassy in China wrote in a tweet that the US wants to blindly distort Iran's image, and publish an unbelievable text in its tweets which is entirely lying.

It added in the tweet that the US seeks to represent its illegal sanctions against the Iranian nation legitimate through accusations and distortion of the truth.

In a tweet by US Embassy, Washington accused Iran of buying Tobacco of $170 billion instead of providing medical supplies, an accusation in response to which it is an unbelievable rumor that Iran spends one-third of its GDP to buy such commodities instead of supplying medicines and food.

The Iranian Embassy referred to the US’ assassination of Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani and billions of dollars it has spent to support ISIS (Daesh) terrorists and massacre people in Iraq and Afghanistan and stated that the US prefers its national economy over saving the elderly lives in corona crisis.

The biggest problem of Iran in fighting the corona pandemic is the US sanctions on food and medical supplies, yet blaming the lack of them on Iran.

While the US politicians claim that the national economy is more important to them than the elderly people, and the United States cannot stop the economy for the sake of the people’s lives, and its representatives are thinking about selling stocks, and the government is waging blame game, Iran is trying to take advantage of China experience to contain coronavirus and help Iranians, the embassy noted.

The Iranian embassy in China has finally recommended the US to consider the facts instead of trying to distort the image of Iran and publish such rumors and lies.
