Iran Press/ America: Preliminary reports indicate a personal attempt to enter unauthorized areas at the entrance to the CIA headquarters in Virginia.
The NBC reported on Monday evening local time that security forces arrested a man who was planning to attack the CIA headquarters in Virginia.
In coordination with our local law enforcement partners, we are addressing a security situation just outside the secure perimeter of CIA Headquarters by our main gate on Route 123," CIA spokesperson told NBC News
Flights around the building were temporarily suspended following the security incident.
US sources also reported the deployment of a large number of police forces around the headquarters.
A law enforcement source tells Pete Williams FBI agents shot and wounded the suspect at the CIA main gate, ending the standoff.
