Baghdad (IP) - Iraqi sources say a bomb had exploded on a convoy of US military support in central Iraq.

Iran Press/Middle East:  According to Saberin News, Iraqi sources announced this evening (Sunday) that the US military convoy was targeted in the city of Hillah in the province of Babil in central Iraq.

The bomber struck shortly afternoon in front of a U.S. military convoy, according to Iraqi sources.

On Saturday, Iraqi sources reported that a bomb had exploded in the path of a US military support convoy in the southern Iraqi province of Al-Diwaniyah.

In recent months, convoys carrying support equipment for US troops stationed at various military bases in Iraq have been repeatedly targeted by roadside bombs.

These caravans enter Iraq mainly from the Syrian border in the west or the south's Kuwaiti border.

Many Iraqi people and groups want the withdrawal of American terrorist forces from Iraq, and the Iraqi parliament has approved a plan for the withdrawal of these forces.
