German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas repeatedly supported Israeli regime actions against Palestinians

The stances taken by the US and European countries in recent gasoline-related protests in Iran, clearly showed that by exploiting the people's protests, they seek their political interests, crying crocodile tears when talking in defense of Iranian people and human rights.

Iran Press/America: The Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi condemned the unilateral stances of the German foreign minister regarding political exploitation of the recent unrest in Iran.

On Thursday in Germany's parliament, the Bundestag, the foreign minister Heiko Mass claimed hundreds of people have been killed in the recent unrest in Iran and that the violence must be condemned.

Interfering also earlier, the new European Union's foreign policy chief Josep Borrell made some accusations against Iran, exploiting the turmoil.

The European authorities' stances in their alleged support for Iran take place while these very European authorities showed their subservience to the United States when they followed the US policy of economic terrorism against the Iranian nation, actually violating Iranian human rights.

The European's double-standard political stances are not something new, as Germany supported Saddam's Ba'athist regime of Iraq and provided the regime with chemical weapons against the Iranian people.

The consequences of German-made chemical weapons are yet palpable in the daily lives of the Iranian people. It is also worth pondering Germany's accompaniment with the US in banning the export medicines to Iran for the treatment of diseases including those suffering from the effects of chemical weapons and chemical bombs that Germany helped the former Iraqi dictator, Saddam, to acquire.

Furthermore, the export of modern arms to west Asia by some European countries including Germany is another example of Western human rights abuse, the manifestation of which is the war crimes, devastations, and massacring of civilians particularly women and children in Yemen.

Given these overt violations of human rights, the German Foreign Minister and other European officials are expected to consider the need for basic human rights principles based on impartiality and understanding of the facts rather than adopting double standards and mere political stances.

The Iranian government has heard the real voices of the people in the recent protests over the gasoline price hike, separating the saboteurs and rioters from real protesters.

Accordingly, Abbas Mousavi said on Thursday Iran makes a distinction between protestors and saboteurs and those acting as enemy agents and their foreign supporters who killed innocent people, and takes appropriate measures to respect the Iranian nation's rights as the investigations ended. 101/205/211
