Iran Press/ Iran news: On the sidelines of the open chamber of the Parliament on Sunday, Abbas Golrou, in an exclusive interview with Iran Press, said that the US current administration and US President Joe Biden's lack of focus on his country's affairs is one one the reason for unsuccessful nuclear talks.
The lawmaker stated that the negotiation process had been influenced by European and the US, and a large part of this is due to the political developments in the United States of America.
Golrou considered the distancing of Democratic supporters from Biden and the coming mid-term congressional elections as factors that impacted the US' approach during negotiations.
The MP noted that according to the "Strategic Action Plan to Counter Sanctions and Protect Rights of the Iranian People," which the Parliament approved last year, preserving the rights of the Iranian people is stressed in the nuclear talks.
He further stated: "The EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell's statements indicate that the European side has good intentions in the nuclear negotiations, but it must be proven in practice."
He hoped the nuclear negotiations would conclude soon without the US being affected by the destructive pressure of the Zionist regime.
