Tehran(IP)- Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs said that Iran is ready for a good and lasting agreement, but the American side, with some extravagance, has been directly responsible for prolonging the negotiations so far.

Iran PressIran News: Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian on Sunday night had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Oman, Badr bin Hamad Al-Busaidi, in the telephone conversation, Amir- Abdollahian, discussing some bilateral, regional, and international issues of mutual interest, including the ceasefire in Yemen and the Vienna talks and exchanged views.

Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs criticized the re-imposition of US sanctions on some Iranian individuals and companies, saying: "Iran is ready for a good and lasting agreement, but the American side, with some extravagance, has been directly responsible for prolonging the negotiations so far."

In the phone call, the Omani Foreign Minister congratulated the Iranian government and people on the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan, welcomed the establishment of a ceasefire in Yemen, appreciated Iran for its role and efforts in this regard, and expressed hope that this issue would provide the necessary platform for talks between all Yemeni sides and the reopening of the country's borders.

Amir-Abdollahian, while congratulating the Omani counterpart and the Omani government and people on the holy month of Ramadan, as well as expressing hope that the ceasefire in Yemen will remain stable, appreciated Oman's constructive role in this regard.
