Senior aide to the speaker of the Iranian parliament Hossein Amirabdollahian

A senior aide to the speaker of the Iranian parliament said that the increasing insecurity in the Persian Gulf is the result of the US and other alien forces in the region.

Iran Press/ Iran News: Hossein Amirabdollahian wrote in his twitter account on Tuesday that the storage of arms in the Persian Gulf is another factor that, besides the presence of the US and other foreign forces, has led to insecurity in the region.

Maintaining Persian Gulf's security needs collective cooperation of regional states, he said.

"Dialogue, confidence building, and mutual respect are imperative. This path has always been proposed by Iran," Amirabdollahian wrote.
