Iran Press/ Iran News: The International Court of Justice (ICJ) ordered on Friday, January 26, Israel to take measures to prevent and punish direct incitement of genocide in the Gaza Strip immediately and take effective measures to enable the provision of urgently needed basic services and humanitarian assistance in the enclave.
Nasser Kanaani wrote on his X account on Saturday: "The opposition of the US, Canada, and a few other countries to the verdict issued by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) is a reaffirmation of the fact that crime, genocide, and violation of international laws are the basis for the formation and survival of the Zionist regime, which is still ongoing with the support of some states."
Kanaani said that the general public of the world never forget the full support of the US and some Western countries to the regime that is accused of genocide.
"Many countries' welcoming of the ICJ's verdict is indicative of the awareness of the governments and nations about the depth of the crimes committed against the Palestinian people and the level of international isolation of the Zionist regime and the growing global hatred of this criminal regime."
He reiterated that support for a regime that is accused of committing genocide is morally shameful and holds the perpetrator of the crime accountable.
Since October 7, the Israeli regime has been pouring bombs on the Gaza Strip, killing more than 26,000, people in the Palestinian city.
At least 26,083 people have been killed and 64,487 wounded in Israeli attacks. 219
