Palestine (IP) - The Spokesperson of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) says the people of Gaza, blockaded by the Israeli regime, receive only 10% of the food they need every day.

Iran PressWest Asia: The spokesperson of UNRWA warned about the increase in malnutrition and lack of food in the Gaza Strip and the risk of a complete famine.

As the Head of UNRWA Thomas White said earlier, rescue and relief operation is about to be stopped due to the run-out of fuel.

Meanwhile, the Executive Director of the World Food Programme (WFP) McCain said in a statement on Thursday: “Supplies of food and water are practically non-existent in Gaza and only a fraction of what is needed is arriving through the borders.”

According to the WFP, only 10% of necessary food supplies have entered Gaza since the start of the war with fuel shortages severely impacting bread production as well as the distribution of essential humanitarian aid with aid trucks unable to reach their destination.

The Israeli fighters hit the vital infrastructures and facilities that deal with the people's lives; the regime's fighters targeted the Al-Salaam wheat mill which was the only active wheat mill in Gaza, which could contribute to a food crisis in Gaza.
