US (IP) - The UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres attended the Mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran in New York to show respect for the late Iranian President Raisi and his colleagues.

Iran Press/America: Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi along with Hojjatol-Islam Ale-Hashem Friday Prayers Imam of Tabriz, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Malek Rahmati, General Governor of East Azarbaijan, pilot, co-pilot, crew chief, head of the security team and one of the bodyguards and several other companions were on their way towards Tabriz, northwestern Iran when their helicopter crashed on Sunday and all were martyred. 

Antonio Guterres came to the Iranian Mission on Friday and signed the memorial book of Ebrahim Raisi, the late president of Iran, and his companions.

He expressed his condolence to Iran's representative in the UN Amir-Saeed Iravani over the martyrdom of the Iranian President and his companions.

President Raisi and his colleagues were returning from the opening ceremony of an Iranian-Azerbaijani join dam project when their helicopter crashed.
