Stephanie Tremblay, a UN spokesperson, expressed concern about the Israeli attack on Kamal al-Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip and called for support for the medical system in Gaza.

Iran Press/America: Stephanie Tremblay, spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, expressed concern over the ongoing attacks in various areas of the Gaza Strip and the attack on Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip.

The UN Secretary-General’s spokesperson added: “The Israeli authorities are rejecting international efforts to gain access to areas in the northern Gaza Strip.”

Tremblay also called for continued compliance with obligations and respect for and protection of medical personnel and health facilities.

Israeli soldiers set fire to the building of the hospital after committing a horrific crime near Kamal Adwan Hospital, in which 50 Palestinians, including five medical personnel, were martyred.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that Israeli soldiers had surrounded the hospital and burned down the surgical wards, laboratories, facilities and maintenance, emergency room, and warehouses.

Meanwhile, the Hamas movement considered this action a war crime that was carried out in the shadow of the international community's indifference and the complete complicity of the United States with Israel.
