Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking on the occasion of the 34th International Cycling Tour of Iran-Azerbaijan, representative of UCI, Valerii Sevruk said: " Iran-Azerbaijan tour has been registered among the tours on the UCI's Calendar."
"There are 15 teams from different countries in the tour, which is an international event and a good opportunity for cyclists from different countries to present themselves," said Valerii Sevruk in an interview with Iran Press correspondent in Tabriz.
"Due to the presence of different teams from other countries and the good organizing of the tour, the level of the tournament is very high and this has made it so attractive," Valerii Sevruk added.
The representative of the UCI also stated: "It is my first time that I visit Iran and I am very happy to be here. We are impressed by the hospitality of Iranians."
The 34th International Cycling Tour of Iran–Azerbaijan, 2-6 October 2019 is underway in the provinces of East Azerbaijan, West Azerbaijan, and Ardabil. 101/207
