Iran Press/ Iran news: On Thursday, after announcing the names of the martyrs of the operation, the social deputy of the Kohgiluyeh and Boyar Ahmad police forces said: The police forces of the province, in line with the social security plan, suspected two cars, on Yasouj road (in the area of Qara bridge) and ordered them to stop.
Colonel Ali Warastegi stated: "During this incident and the pursuit of smugglers, agents of the drug trafficking gang started shooting, during which 2 policemen of the province were martyred."
Colonel Warstagi added: Two smugglers were arrested by the police forces and efforts to arrest the other perpetrators of this incident who fled to the local mountains are still ongoing.
