Karachi (IP) - Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan organized the Gaza March to express solidarity with Palestine, in which many men and women, including children and people of different schools of thought, participated.

Iran PressAsia: The Gaza March was organized on Sunday evening at the famous square Nishan Pakistan Sea View in Karachi. Children and women were carrying play-cards and Palestinian flags in the march.

Participants in the march chanted slogans against Israeli terrorism. Addressing the participants of the Gaza March, the head of the Palestine Foundation, Sabir Abu Maryam, said that it is the need of the hour that every Muslim should stand in support of Gaza, the real character of the war in Gaza is the global terrorist state, America so America should stop the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

"We also demand from Muslim and Arab rulers that if they cannot provide financial and defense support to the Muslims of Gaza, then at least they should sever ties with Israel", he said.

Addressing this occasion, Munem Zafar, the head of Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi said that on October 7th, Hamas fighters crushed Israel's pride, four and a half hundred days have passed yet till now, terrorism continues in Palestine.

"We have a connection with Palestine through faith and ideology. We have a connection with our first Qibla and Bait al Muqadas. A division is being created between Arabs and non-Arabs, but there is no room for this in Islam, and unity on the issue of Palestine is the need of the hour", he added.

The participants in the Gaza March in Karachi said that until terrorism in Palestine is stopped, we will raise our voices for them until the last moment. Former provincial health minister Dr. Saad Khalid Niaz and people from different schools of thought were also present in the march.
