Iran Press/Europe: The dense fog that enveloped the city last night caused significant challenges for airport operations. Scheduled flights from last night and early this morning were canceled due to poor visibility and adverse weather conditions.
The airport confirmed that flights to Cologne and Istanbul, as well as an inbound flight from Zagreb, were among those canceled. This is not the first time weather conditions have affected Sarajevo Airport's operations.
Winter often poses significant challenges for Sarajevo and other cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with fog and air pollution frequently disrupting daily life and transportation. As the cold season progresses, these issues are expected to remain a recurring obstacle for the region.
