Meymeh (IP) - The Museum of Anthropology in Meymeh, in Isfahan province, is visited by thousands of tourists each year.

Iran Press/Iran news: The Museum of Anthropology in Meymeh attracts large numbers of tourists annually, both domestic and foreign tourists. Official figures show each year some 20000 tourists from all across the world visit both the Museum and the historic of Meymeh.

The main aim of the museum is to introduce the rich culture, traditions and customs of local people which dates back to some 400 years ago or even more. The Museum of Anthropology in Meymeh was registered on 8th February 2006 as one of Islamic Republic of Iran’s national heritage sites, according to an Iran Press report.

The members of the Iran’s association of the Museum experts have recently visited the city and the museum to know more about the culture and lifestyle of the people of Meymeh.

Meymeh is a city and capital of Meymeh District, in Shahin Shahr and Meymeh County, Central Isfahan Province, Iran. 103/211/203
