Iran Press/ Iran News: The summit will be held on September 9 and 10 in Tehran.
The head of the Iran Meteorological Organization (IRIMO) Sahar Taj-Bakhsh stated on Thursday that climate change causes an increase in sand and dust.
On the plans for coping with the situation, Taj-Bakhsh emphasized the efforts of countries to set up a plan in their agenda to counter the consequences of natural disasters, including sand and dust storms.
"From the point of view of meteorology," she said, "whose main task is to monitor weather hazards, the establishment of a joint regional database can include the vulnerability and resilience layers of cities and countries in addition to meteorological data."
"In addition to the technical issues, capacity and culture are also very important for people," said the Meteorological head, expressing hope for the influential role of the Tehran summit.
