Iran PressIran news: Tehran's interim Friday Prayers leader in Tehran, Ahmad Khatami condemned the crimes committed by the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip and said: "During the Gaza war, we witnessed the peak of brutality and crime in this region by the Zionist regime and its supporter, the United States; and on the other side, we are witnessing the resistance of the people of Gaza."

About 31,000 Palestinians were martyred and more than 72,000 were injured in the attacks of the Zionist regime army on the Gaza Strip in the past five months.

The international community wants to establish a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, but the Zionist regime and the United States are against the establishment of a ceasefire in this area.

In the other part of his speech, Tehran's interim Friday Prayers leader appreciated the Radio and Television of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRIB) for the correct and timely coverage of the elections of the 12th round of Iran's parliament and the 6th round of Assembly of Experts, adding: "The people of Iran, with 41% turnout in the elections, hit a strong punch in the mouth of the enemies."

Khatami added: "The real winners of the elections were the people of Iran, and the real losers were the enemies of the people of Iran, who expected to witness a low-turnout election, but with the vigilance of the people, they were disappointed." 219
