Tehran (IP) - The Armenian archbishop of Tehran, Sebouh Sarkissian congratulated the 41st anniversary of the Islamic Revolution's victory to the Iranian nation, government, and leader.

 

Iran Press/Iran news: Sebouh Sarkissian in a message on Monday said that the Iranian nation celebrates the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution's victory every year, with their determined belief.

Sarkissian emphasized that the Armenian community has been standing by the revolution during the Islamic Revolution as an integral part of Iranian society, saying: "During the aggression of the Iraqi Ba'ath regime on Iran, the Armenian community defended the territorial integrity of Iran, sacrificing their blood along with their Muslim brothers."

He stated in his message of congratulation that Iran is already benefiting the outcomes of the Islamic Revolution and advances in different areas, noting that the country will have more achievements under the wise guidance of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

Praising the Iranian nation, the Archbishop of the Armenian Diocese of Tehran appreciated the efforts of Iran's Army and Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) as the guarantors of the country's peace and security.

The Islamic Revolution of Iran gained victory on February 11, 1979.
