Iran Press/ Iran News: Pakistan's Special Representative for Afghanistan's Affairs Sadiq Khan who traveled to Iran, leading a delegation, met on Sunday with Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Abbas Araghchi and talked about Afghanistan's developments especially the peace process in the country.
Pointing to the impact of Afghanistan's developments on Iran and Pakistan, Sadiq Khan called for the countries' further cooperation on the maintenance of sustainable peace in Afghanistan.
Abbas Araghchi for his part expressed hope on using the opportunities of peace and said Islamic Republic of Iran peace would support Afghanistan's peace mingled with the observance of the Afghan nation's fundamental rights while the achievements of the past two decades are preserved.
Araghchi welcomed the position of the Special Representative of Pakistan over close cooperation on issues related to Afghanistan and announced the readiness of the Islamic Republic of Iran for the purpose.
