Tehran (IP)- The spokesman of the Budget Integration Commission of the Iranian Parliament said: next year the rate of customs duties on imports of basic goods and medicines will be reduced from four to one percent.

Iran PressIran News: In a press briefing, Rahim Zare' noted: "According to the Commission's adoptions the country's departure tax increased by 20 percent, the revenue of which will be spent to refurbish tourism infrastructure."

He added: "The Integration Commission also approved that the domestic automobile companies are obliged to accept the Competition Council instructions based on general policies of the Article 44 of the Constitution, starting from next year to supply their cars through the stock exchange market."

He further said: "auto companies should supply their entire production on the stock exchange, and the difference in 85 of the price that is offered on the exchange should be spent on urban transportation with the deprived areas in priority."
