Iran Press/ Asia: A conference entitled "Afghanistan's Economy" was held on January 19 at the Presidential Palace, attended by Taliban officials and representatives of Afghanistan's neighbors, as well as officials from international organizations, including the United Nations, to discuss Afghanistan's economic problems and ways to help the Afghan people.
On the sidelines of an economic conference, Zabihullah Mujahid told IranPress in Kabul that the conference's message was that the world should cooperate with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
The Taliban spokesman called on countries around the world, Islamic countries, to work with the Taliban government, especially in the economy, to resolve the problems of the Afghan people.
Zabihullah Mujahid said that Islamic countries should take the foremost step in cooperating with the people of Afghanistan because there is better transparency and security in Afghanistan, and there is an excellent opportunity to invest in Afghanistan.
He said: "Afghanistan's ties with the countries around is our priority, in this regard, the Taliban has good plans on the agenda."
Zabihullah Mujahid stressed that cooperation with neighbors is essential and that the Taliban intends to create a very credible atmosphere within the framework of this cooperation.
