Tehran (IP)- A member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iran's Parliament stressed that the only way for the Taliban was to pursue an inclusive government because they can not run an ethnic country alone.

Iran PressIran news: In an interview with Iran Press on Tuesday, Fada-Hossein Maleki said: "Taliban have asked the Islamic Republic of Iran for help and it has two messages; the first is that they feel Afghanistan is important to the Islamic Republic, and secondly, Iran does not bear to see instability in Afghanistan so it encourages Afghans to establish an inclusive government soon."

The former Iranian Ambassador to Afghanistan added that the recent developments in Afghanistan did not benefit the Afghans and the neighboring countries at all because the possibility of waging a serious civil war was high."

He accused the United States of not wanting to establish real stability in Afghanistan.

"Our Persian-speaking and even our Pashto-Afghan friends, Abdullah Abdullah, Hamid Karzai, and Ahmad Massoud, the son of Ahmad Shah Massoud, know Iran's policy, that is Afghanistan's stability is possible only through establishing an inclusive government," the Iranian MP reiterated.

Referring to Commander of IRGC Quds Force Brigadier General Esmail Ghaani's remarks in a closed session of the parliament and his response to the MPs' questions, Fada-Hossein Maleki said the session was good, positive and beneficial.

The Commander of the Quds Force has said in the session that the US plots to bring Iran into war with the Sunni world.

"The US' plot was to engage Iran in war with the Sunni world, so we must act in way that Iran's security is not harmed," a source said, citing the commander.

"Iran wanted the crisis in Afghanistan resolved not through war and tried that all ethnic groups participate in an inclusive government to run their country," the source quoted Ghaani as saying.
