Iran Press/Iran News: In a message, Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon congratulated Eid al-Adha to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani expressing hope that with Islamic values including this sacred Eid of Muslim Ummah (people), friendship, fraternity, and constructive cooperation between the two countries would be further strengthened.
In his message, president Rahmon asked for the Almighty's blessings for President Rouhani and lasting security, stability, progress, and prosperity, for the Iranian people, Iran Press reported.
On Eid al-Adha day, the Hajj pilgrims, after completing their Hajj rituals and traditional rites, sacrifice (slaughter ) an animal on the plain of Mina , and following this, what was religiously forbidden for them during the Hajj period , becomes 'Halal" or allowed , such as clipping their fingernails, combing their hair, and looking at themselves in a mirror.
