Iran Press/ Iran News: Speaking on Tuesday evening in this meeting, Professor Riichi Miyake, professor of Architecture and Art at Tokyo University of Science referred to the duration of the relationship between Iran and Japan, saying: "Based on my own observations, since 1970, the change has been quite evident and the relations between the two countries are at a favorable level."
Speaking about the position of some Iranians in Japanese literature, the professor added: "In Japanese literature, there has been a lot to talk about Iranians, and we try to show the common cultural points between the two countries with art and artists."
Riichi Miyake considered the historical and cultural characteristics of Tabriz and the cultural places of the city as a good opportunity to expand the cultural and artistic relations between Iran and Japan.
Speaking to Iran Press News Agency on the sidelines of the meeting, Miyake said relations between Iran and Japan have weakened due to the US sanctions as well as COVID-19 pandemic.
The Japanese professor stated that Iranians are very emotional and creative, and more activities should be done to expand cultural relations between Iran and Japan.
