Iran Press/ Iran news: In a post on his official X account on Sunday, Kanaani reacted to an Israeli drone strike that killed two Palestinians in the southern Gaza city of Rafah earlier that day.
"Killers who kill for fun," Kanaani wrote, denouncing the Israeli killing of civilians. "The war crimes of the Zionists in Palestine have brought disgrace on the false advocates of human rights in the West."
His remarks reflect Tehran's longstanding criticism of Western nations for their support of Israel, accusing them of turning a blind eye to Israeli war crimes that violate international law. The latest comments came in the wake of the non-stop Israeli genocide in Gaza, where over 41,206 Palestinians have been killed.
