Tehran (IP) - Iranian Minister of Sports visited the Olympic Taekwondo Camp yesterday evening.

Iran PressIran news: In a meeting with taekwondokas, Masoud Soltanifar has said that he believes taekwondo can achieve good results and honors at the Tokyo Olympics.

The Iranian Minister of Sports and Youth added: "Iran's sports caravan with 66 athletes will be dispatch to the Tokyo Olympics, which is a new quorum in this regard. Of course, Iran's representatives participated in the Olympic quota competition and won 68 Olympic quotas two years ago."

Masoud Soltanifar said: "Apropriate facilities and conditions have been provided for the preparation of Olympic athletes so that athletes can participate in the Olympics in better spirit."

During the visit, Iran's Taekwondo Federation's President, Mohammad Pooladgar, also said: "The Iranian taekwondo team trained in this one year that the Olympics were postponed, and we hope that they can be a good representative for Iran."
