Iran Press/Iran News: The Iranian Minister of Oil Bijan Namdar Zanganeh said during the open session of the parliament that with the efforts of anonymous soldiers, thousands of billions of dollars have been allocated to the country from the South Pars gas field. Iran produces more oil than its neighbors and has created a super project in South Pars, the pride of which belongs to the Islamic Republic of Iran, and this is the realization of a Resistance Economy.
"South Pars was designed by Iranian experts and is an honor for the Islamic Republic of Iran, Zanganeh expressed".
"We faced sanctions and were unable to provide some parts needed to operate Phase 14 of South Pars," Zanganeh added.
The open session of parliament kicked off on Wednesday morning chaired by the Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf.
The natural gas production at the South Pars gas field currently surpassed 700 million cubic meters daily.
Pars Oil and Gas Company has currently 17 projects in progress and 22 more projects will be added to the production cycle in the current Iranian year (starting on March 20, 2021). 101/205
