Iran Press/ Africa: Speaking at the EMRO regional ministerial meeting attended by the world’s Health Ministers, South African Health Minister Zweli Mkhize said that his respective government has learned a lot from other countries' experiences to reduce the challenge of COVID-19.
The South African official went on to call the anti-COVID-19 measures as the multidisciplinary tasks that need the governments’ contribution to facing the rising and the upcoming challenges and outcomes.
Mkhize then began to elaborate on the precautionary measures in the African country as well as the problems and deficiencies in reaching out to those who have been affected by COVID-19 in terms of the buying time for conducting necessary testing activities.
He also called on the international community and partners to cooperate with South Africa to contain COVID-19. 207
