Shiraz (IP) - An exhibition of the works of caricaturists from 33 countries was opened on Sunday in Shiraz, the capital of Fars Province, southern Iran.

Iran PressIran news: Iran, Romania, Indonesia, Morocco, Colombia, Brazil, China, India, Algeria, Cuba, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Poland, Austria, Germany, Russia, Croatia, Belgium, Macedonia, Egypt, Armenia, Greece, Spain, Peru, Nepal, Thailand and Mexico are among those countries whose artists exposed their caricatures at the gallery.

The caricatures centered around the Palestinian children who are under the attacks of the Israeli regime.

About three months passed from the Israeli regime's all-out war on Gaza, during which a genocide happened in the Palestinian city. Over 21,600 Palestinians have been martyred and more than 56,000 others have been injured. 70 percent of the martyred are children and women, the two groups that must be kept safe from bombardment in any war, but the Israeli forces target them intentionally.

The genocide came on October 7 when the Palestinian Resistance carried out Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on the Israeli regime's forces in response to the regime's daily crimes against the Palestinian people during 75 years of occupation of Palestine since 1948.
