Iran Press/Iran news: In a video call with the mayor of Florence, a city in central Italy, Shiraz Mayor Heydar Eskandarpour said that the world after containing the Coronavirus would be different, adding: "The Coronavirus has shown that people around the world face a common problem and must work together to overcome it, regardless of borders, geography or their ethnic background."
Dario Nardella, in his part, voiced the Florence municipality's readiness to expand cooperation with Shiraz, saying: "One of the plans set for 2020 was a trip to Iran, which unfortunately will not be implemented due to the spread of the Coronavirus."
He also expressed hope that relations between Florence and Iranian historical city of Shiraz would be further developed. 101/207
