Iran Press/ Iran news: Yesterday (Friday), April 29, 2022 (Ordibehesht 9, 1401 AH) coincided with the 27th of Ramadan in 1443 AH, the International Day of Quds.
World Al-Quds Day ceremonies were held in the form of marches or rallies in more than 90 countries with the participation of Muslims and freedom seekers of other divine religions in support of the Palestinian people and condemnation of the crimes of the Israeli regime.
According to Iran Press, Rear Admiral Ali Shamkhani, the secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, wrote in a tweet on Saturday, referring to the Quds Day rallies: "Imam Khomeini's call for freedom and countering oppression has penetrated deeper than ever to the depths of the hearts of the lovers of the Islamic Revolution."
The last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan has been named International Quds Day on the initiative of Late Imam Khomeini (RA), the great founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, so that Muslims around the world can express their disgust with the racist policies of the Israeli regime.
