Yazd (IP) - The mourning ceremony of "Sham-e-Ghariban" was held in the historic Amir-Chakhmaq Complex of Yazd with the presence of mourners.

Iran PressIran news: The sunset of Ashura is nothing but sadness for the mourners of the innocence of the purified progeny of the Holy Prophet of Islam Mohammad (AS).

The sadness, which is getting more profound as it gets dark, and the dinner mourning ceremony of "Sham-e-Ghariban is a reminder of the displacement, captivity, and helplessness of the survivors of Karbala in the darkness of the night.

Mourners for Imam Hussein (PBUH) gathered on Monday night in Amir Chakhmaq Takiyah of Yazd, central Iran, which is considered one of this city's historical and touristic complexes mourn for the third Shi'a Imam.

In the ritual, there is no Self-flagellation, and only processions of people move with silence and composure, crowded and gloomy, and sing poems and mourn at the mourning ceremony of "Sham-e-Ghariban.

The mourning ceremony of "Sham-e-Ghariban can be considered to be a similar event of paying tribute to the lost ones at the vigil, including lighting candles.
