Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking at the Mediterranean Dialogue (MED 2020) held via video conferencing on Monday, Mohammad Javad Zarif said: "If the European parties start implementing what they have agreed to, it is possible to save JCPOA."
"What we have done is not against JCPOA, but within the framework of this agreement," he said.
Referring to the issues in Syria, Zarif said: "We should not have preconditions for peace in Syria."
"We all need to put aside political considerations and turn to international aid for humanitarian purposes," he added.
Zarif also pointed to the military budget of the US, saying that Iran's defense budget is $16 billion a year, while the United States sells a triple amount of that to Saudi Arabia each year.
