Iran Press/Middle East: The Yemeni military official said that 48 shootings in different parts of Al Hudaydah, the flight of a military plane and 11 artillery shelling were among the violations of the ceasefire.
According to Yemen's Al-Masira network, the ceasefire agreement reached in Sweden between the Yemeni delegation and the Riyadh delegation began on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, in the western Yemeni province of Al Hudaydah, but the Saudi-led coalition violates it every day.
The port of Al Hudaydah is the main route for sending humanitarian aid to Yemen.
The fourth round of Yemeni peace talks began on December 6, 2018, with the participation of Yemeni parties led by Martin Griffiths, the UN Secretary-General's Special Representative for Yemen in Stockholm, Sweden and it ended its work on Thursday, December 13, 2018, by agreeing on a ceasefire in Al Hudaydah.
There have been several moves to end the war in Yemen, but each time the Saudi and its allies have failed.
Yemen has been beset by Yemenis uprising since 2014. Since the Saudi invasion of the country in March 2015, the Saudi air force has relentlessly bombed the Yemeni people who had risen up in 2014 to ran the Saudi-installed President Abd Rabbuh Masur Hadi out of the country whereupon he took up refuge in Saudi Arabia.
Since then, tens of thousands of Yemenis, including numerous civilians, are believed to have been killed in the conflict, while another 14 million are at risk of starvation, according to the UN.
